As the co-founder of The Women’s Room, a freelance journalist, and a feminist campaigner, Caroline Criado-Perez certainly has a lot of strings to her bow.
She studied at Oxford University as a mature student and is currently completing an MSc in Gender at the London School of Economics. She also runs the Week Woman blog. Her campaign efforts resulted in The Bank of England reviewing their processes for selecting historical figures for banknotes, and confirming Jane Austen’s place for the £10 note.
