What I See Project Campaign Kicks Off!

Tomorrow, Tuesday 27 August, marks the first day of our What I See Project Awareness Campaign!

The What I See Project is a global online exploration of what women see when they look in the mirror. Between August 27 and October 1, with the goal of inspiring more women from around the world to upload their video onto our website and have their voices amplified, we have joined forces with eighteen ambassadors and 100 communicators.

The videos of these fantastic women sharing their story will grace the striking new website’s homepage over the next five weeks. Our prominent female communicators are all from different industries, with an array of talents. With such a diverse online community, The What I See Project provides a common ground for these unique women to show each other just how amazing they really are.

The launch campaign finishes with a bang on October 1 at The Science Museum, where we will premiere our Ambassadors’ Video with a spectacular evening celebration. The ambassadors are all outstanding successes in their particular professions and, indeed, are role models for many women. We can’t wait for you to see what they have to say.

You can be in with a chance of attending this exclusive event by telling your story on our website during the five-week launch. The event is not to be missed – so make sure to join in. Keep an eye on our website from tomorrow to see 100 interesting and inspirational answers to our question from some truly amazing women. We’re so looking forward to sharing their stories with you and hope that you’ll enjoy watching and relating to them. Don’t forget to tweet us your thoughts @WhatISeeProject!

A big shout-out to all of our fabulous communicators for getting involved. This week, we are delighted to introduce you to the following women who will officially be kick-starting our campaign:

Julie Gould; Becky Clarke and Rosie Campbell; Rachael Urquart; Melanie King; Laura Agar Wilson; Carina Sullivan; Aminata Fofana; Lorna Mann; AJ Taylor; Nicolette LaFonsca; Sophie Levett; Lizzy Harley; Lili Julian; Lulu Le Vay; Morgana Loze-Doyle; and Georgina Horne.

Make sure to check out their videos!
