How does where you live shape who you are?

Maybe not so much the location as simply the idea of 'home', defines much of who I am. It gives me the opportunity to express myself through my choice of surroundings, the people I build relationships with and the way I use my surroundings. I'm someone who likes to belong; I make friends wherever I can from the local coffee shop to my neighbours. I enjoy walking in the local gardens, people watching and getting involved in local issues. My flat reflects my life through photos, books and furnishings that go back to my grand parents. It's all me.
