What do you see when you look in the mirror?

This is a crochet doll I made to look like myself. Physically, it resembles my round face and glasses, my wild brown hair and preference for wearing dresses. Being a toy, it reminds me that I'm stuck in a period of arrested development, living what is basically a teenager's life at twenty-three years old. But being something I made myself, it also represents the creative phase of my life that I've recently entered that I hope to continue and use as motivation to finally grow up and become a real adult. To me, there is nothing better than the feeling I get when looking at something and knowing that I created it, especially when it's something that others can appreciate. My ultimate goal is to become self-sufficient through both my crafting and writing. All I want out of life is to be passionate about something and let that passion be a driving force in my life.
