Another day, another fabulous ambassador for you to meet. Baroness Anne Jenkin is one of 18 high-achieving women joining forces with the What I See Project as part of our campaign.
Baroness Jenkin, a former event organiser and PR consultant, is a life peer at the House of Lords. She is co-chair of Women2Win, which aims to elect more Conservative women to parliament; she has also taken part in ‘Live Below The Line’ since its conception three years ago, living on £1 a day for a week to raise money for charity.
She is an advisor for the Global Poverty Project, a trustee UNICEF UK and chair of the Conservative Friends of International Development.
Anne’s commitment to helping others makes her a true What I See advocate: “Everybody who can make time for young people will really benefit from advising them,” she says. Her other best bit of advice? “Do it now.”
So… why not heed her words and seize the day and contribute to the project? Or hop over to the website to see the rest of what Baroness Jenkin had to say.
