What has been the defining event of your life?

whilst travelling an organised tour across east africa, i met a fellow traveller from london at a lakeside backpackers in malawi. after knowing him just 3 days i left the tour i had paid for to go off and travel with him alone through zambia, i didnt for one minute think that i didnt know him well enough, the freedom and spontaneity prompted by my time in africa, coupled with an instant meeting of minds meant it was the right fork in the road to follow. we are now married and have a wonderful son.
