You know the drill… today we have another four communicators who are helping us with our What I See Campaign.
Amanda Jones
We say: After a few years in event management, Amanda now runs Irreverent Dance, an open minded dance studio, alongside her work in advocacy and media communications.
She says: She’s “a pro-profit Social Entrepreneur drawn to so-called impossible ideas by a predilection to ‘have a go anyway’.”
Hayley Carr
We say: Hayley started off as a brand manager in the cosmetics industry, before her insider-scoop-style beauty blog started nabbing her awards left, right and centre.
She says: “Join me along the way as I undertake the never-ending journey to self-discovery and self-indulgence.”
Penny Alexander
We say: Penny cut her teeth as a secondary school teacher in London before moving to Nottingham with her family. But don’t be fooled: she’s found time to get an MA in Media and Culture, a Diploma in Creative Writing, and start her blog, A Residence.
She says: “My blog is my filing cabinet.”
…She also says: “I wear lots of hats.”
Victoria Sadler
We say: Victoria blogs for the Huffington Post, writes screenplays and pens novels (you can see for yourself by reading Banking on Burlesque).
She says: “I live in London. Which is a pretty good place to be if you want to be at the centre of things.”
That’s all for this morning, but head over to the website to tell us your story and you could win yourself some tickets to our big launch party at the Science Museum on 1st October!
